Twitter Blue for Android & Web: When will subscription (or verification checkmark) feature release on these platforms?

When will Twitter Blue for Android and web be available?

New updates are added at the bottom of this story…….

The original story (posted November 10, 2022) is as follows:

Blue Twitter It arrived last year (2021) as a subscription service that “opens up” new options and privileges for users.

Most recently, Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter confirmed. Among the changes the new owner has made to the platform is a new Twitter Blue with some modifications.

For example, subscribers will now receive a verification mark on their profiles, something that was previously achieved after the approval process.

Twitter Blue is already available in certain markets, but there are still users who can’t sign up because of the “Not available in your country” error. So, in this story, we will try to dispel the doubts related to this situation.

The Twitter Blue subscription for Android and web is currently unavailable

Many users are wondering about the ‘Twitter verification blue check mark’ will be available. There are suspicions for both the web and Android version, as the feature is already available on iOS.

Yo, @elonmusk, buddy, friend When can I get Twitter Blue for Android? Release date maybe?

It should be noted that there are currently two types of verification flags: the old check (the traditional check to check profiles of interest) and the new check (for Twitter Blue subscribers).

It is a new Twitter Blue option that is not currently available for some users. Next, we will explain the reason behind this.

Here is the official word

First, the new Twitter Blue is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. So if you live outside of those regions, you won’t be able to access the subscription.

But, many users reported that even those living in those regions, they cannot activate the subscription on Android or the web version.

This is because the new Twitter Blue features are not currently available for those platforms. So, it is no longer possible to subscribe to the service since yesterday (November 9) until the full subscription reaches those platforms.

No new subscriptions on Android or the web will be possible starting November 9, 2022, until the new $7.99 per month Twitter Blue is available on those platforms.

Existing Twitter Blue subscribers who signed up through Android or the web have the option to cancel the service if they wish. Cancellation can be manual or automatic (waiting for the end of the billing period).

They can either cancel their subscription manually on the platform they signed up to, in which case they will have service until the end of the current billing period, or their subscriptions will be canceled with notice.

Unfortunately, there is still no official information on when the new Twitter Blue will be available on Android and the web. However, there is an official word on the availability of the subscription in India:

If the subscription reaches India in less than a month, it is possible that other countries will also receive it within the same period. But there are no details yet about other countries that will receive the subscription soon.

We’ll monitor the situation and update this story with new, relevant information regarding Twitter Blue’s availability on Android and the web as soon as it becomes available.
