The greatest sporting event on the calendar kicks off on Sunday, November 20, when Qatar and Ecuador battle it out in the first match of the 2022 World Cup.
The next global sporting event should be easy wherever you are, but sometimes finding games on iPhone and iPad can be a little tricky. If you want to catch all the action on Apple’s best iPhones and iPads, here’s how to watch.
Watch the World Cup in the United States
The World Cup will be shown on Fox Sports and FS1 in the US. The times are pretty awkward (5am, 8am, 11am, and 2am ET for team games), but catching games is easy on iPhone and iPad thanks to either Sling Blue or FuboTV .
Sling is a great option, getting you the cheapest package on 31 channels for just $20 the first month, which is enough to see you through the entire cycle.
FuboTV is also an option, which has a higher monthly fee ($69.99) but you get a free trial to start your subscription, and you can cancel at any time. It also carries much more channels (289).
Watch the World Cup in the UK
In the UK, the games will be shared between ITV and the BBC, both of which are available through the App Store for free.
