Free Apps for Android and iOS: Get These Paid Versions for Free!

With another working week coming to a close, here’s our second weekly release of free apps for the week! As usual, NextPit brings you a selection of good deals for iOS and Android mobile apps and games that usually cost something but are available for free on a temporary basis in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

How did we collect the information required for this publication? For starters, our team will check two app stores for you via deal sites or via apps like Absalis. From there, we choose the free offers and list them for you as shown below. This means that we only collect recommendations for apps that are normally priced.

Here’s a note for our dear readers: unlike reviews of other apps, there is no quality control on our part in these free listings. Thus, we don’t know if the apps protect your data, if there are outrageous in-app sales, or if the game is simply awful. So keep that in mind when downloading and check it out at your own risk.

Quick info: Anytime you stumble upon an interesting app but have no real use for it yet, why not just install the app? After doing that, simply delete it from your device. This way, the app will become part of your apps library and you can install it again for free when you need it. This is a justified reliable way to take full advantage of a short-lived promotion.

Free Android Apps Temporarily On Google Play Store

Free Android productivity/lifestyle apps temporarily on Google Play Store

  • 150X Duplicate Remover Pro (0.49 USD)With one click of a button, this app claims to be able to remove all duplicate photos, photos, videos, audio files and documents from your phone. Very helpful in dealing with those duplicate photos sent via WhatsApp via different channels if you ask me…
  • interconnected (US $2.99): Described as a smart life journal app, it aims to help you understand why you are feeling ill using a scientific algorithm. I highly recommend always relying on a doctor’s diagnosis and not treating yourself.
  • VPN Pro (US $2.99): You have read about the benefits of having a VPN on your smartphone. This is probably the only time you can try it, but don’t expect much from it compared to the likes of ExpressVPN.
  • Soul Box Phone EVP (1.99 USD): So you feel the hair on your neck rising when you’re in an abandoned building, but you don’t see anyone else around. Don’t call Ghostbusters, but use this app to connect with spirit instead…
  • Super notes ($5.99): Create notes, notebooks and checklists with this app. You can also use this to set reminders for other tasks so you can finally get rid of the reputation of being late.

  • Evertal ($0.99): Hunt and evolve monsters! Hmmm, does this sound familiar? That’s what Evertale is all about, except you have Japanese drawn characters with some wildly out of proportion characters.
  • Castle defense final ($0.99): Train heroes and pets while building towers to defend your castle from the incoming waves of enemies. There is nothing more mind-numbing than that.
  • Stickman Warriors Dragon Hero ($0.99): This is like a Dragon Ball Z clone, where you put yourself against another opponent, Street Fighter style.
  • Zombie Age 3 Premium: Survival ($0.99): Another zombie apocalypse themed game, you will have to escape from hordes of zombies with only one goal: to survive.
  • The Adventures of Baker Cat ($0.99): Check out this platformer where you play a cat, moving around and exploring the neighborhood as you become a disoriented cyclone of paws and claws when dangers arise.
