Prices for Apple’s iPhone 14 series have skyrocketed in the UK this year – mainly due to rising inflation – so finding a good deal is more imperative than ever. The 128GB iPhone 14 Pro starts at £1,099, nearly £150 more than its predecessor, the iPhone 13 Pro.
Apple has brought several updates that offset this price hike. I ditched the iPhone notch, to begin with — for the first time in five years. Instead, the iPhone 14 Pro features the new Dynamic Island – a new smart hole within the display – plus an upgraded A16 Bionic chipset, adaptive refresh and an upgrade of the main camera to make it one of the most premium phones on the market today.
iPhone deals will be in high demand after this year and iPhone 14 deals, in particular, will help you save some money — either by spreading out the cost over two years, or by getting a cheap tariff to match your device.
We also have plenty of other cell phone deals if you’re still not sure if iPhone 14 is right for you.

iPhone 14 deals: What’s new?
The lack of Apple’s distinctive branding is one of the most noticeable changes from the iPhone 13 Pro that Apple brought this year. The notch is now called a dynamic island that lets you access notifications and alerts when needed, and disappears when you’re not.
This is the first iPhone in five years without a notch and with an always-on display, improved adaptive refresh rate screen, and pixel binning for photography, these updates finally make the iPhone 14 Pro series compatible with Android competitors.
iPhone 14 Pro: Specifications
The operating system: iOS 16 | Screen Size: 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR (variable from 1 Hz to 120 Hz) | the decision: 2556 × 1179 | CPU: Apple A16 | memory: not available | Weight: 206 g |storage: 128/256/512 GB / 1 TB | battery: not available | Back camera: 48 MP, 12 MP, telephoto 12 MP | front camera: 12 mega pixel
iPhone 14 Pro features the latest A16 Bionic chipset with a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. This will give you 50 percent more memory bandwidth for mobile games, and it will be able to perform 17 trillion operations per second, according to Apple — which is quite impressive.
There is another major upgrade on the three-camera array. The main camera, in fact, now has a 48MP lens with a quad-pixel sensor and ƒ/1.78 aperture, while the 12MP 3x telephoto lens promises low-light photos twice as good as the previous iPhone. The 12MP ultra-wide lens now has a 120-degree field of view.
The UK price has gone up across all iPhone 14 models, but we’d argue it’s still worth the investment – especially in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro?
This is what most of us are thinking now. The iPhone 14 is the latest version with an even more improved camera – especially in low-light conditions – and a new A16 Bionic chip processor with a five-core GPU. iPhone 14 deals right now are pretty expensive, and while they’ll see some kind of discount during Black Friday and other retail events, it probably won’t be as important as the iPhone 13.
This might be a good time to start looking for iPhone 13 Pro deals, on the other hand. It’s a slightly older phone that will still give you great performance, battery life, and an excellent camera. Its age and hefty price tag (still) are major reasons to consider going straight to the iPhone 14. And while you might get a good deal during Black Friday, you’ll likely still have to spend over £500 to bring home the iPhone 13. . For that price, some may find you could spend an extra £100/150 to get the latest version.
